theincredibledancinglawn:

Hello.

I believe,
like children do,
that I’ll find you when I do the peek-a-boo.

I’ll find you in the shadow of the moon,
the holes on a button.

I’ll find you in the hint of a smile,
the space between your toes.

I’ll find you in the place I do not look,
the laces on your shoes.

I’ll find you,
I’m sure,
in the bolt from the blue,
in the red from a poppy,
in the lily from abroad.

I’ll keep my eyes peeled,
I’ll look so hard.

So don’t make this easy,
for I’ll find you once again.
